Driver of the ASALMS #108, Bear Lynch of Denver, CO and the JECO MotorSports Team are
taking their new Dodge Charger to West Allis, WI for the ASALMS “Governor’s Cup 150”
at the Milwaukee Mile.

During the 2006 racing season thus far, the JECO MotorSports team has been competing
regularly in the Late Model division at it’s Colorado based local NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series
facility. Seeking to enter into a national touring division, the team decided on the
ASA Late Model Series and began work on the new car.
The 2006 Dodge Charger sits on an ’05 Howe Chassis and is powered by the ASALMS mandated
Mopar Crate Engine. After completing the fabrication and following both some engine and
chassis dyno testing, JECO MotorSports team owner Jim Egli decided that it’s maiden voyage
would be the Milwaukee Mile race slated for August 26th. Crew chief Larry Lynch and
car chief Ryan Huffman are also excited about and looking forward to this new challenge
for the team.
The ASALMS Challenge Division competes at nearly a dozen tracks nationally and has several
of it’s races televised (please visit www.asalatemodels.com for t.v. schedule). The series
has been gaining popularity over the past few seasons with both fans and drivers.
The pre-entry list for the “Governor’s Cup 150” contains over 40 of the nations hottest
and up-and-coming late model drivers. Bear Lynch and JECO MotorSports hope to be heading
to Milwaukee with the car to beat!
