After completing the fabrication and following both some engine and chassis dyno testing, JECO MotorSports team owner Jim Egli decided that it’s maiden voyage would be the Milwaukee Mile race slated for August 26th. Crew chief Larry Lynch and car chief Ryan Huffman are also excited about and looking forward to this new challenge for the team. The ASALMS Challenge Division competes at nearly a dozen tracks nationally and has several of it’s races televised (please visit www.asalatemodels.com for t.v. schedule). The series has been gaining popularity over the past few seasons with both fans and drivers. The pre-entry list for the “Governor’s Cup 150” contains over 40 of the nations hottest and up-and-coming late model drivers.
