JECO MotorSports Finds New Direction for 2006 Denver, CO (Feb. 9, 2006) By Rachel Dickinson Plans for the 2006 racing season for JECO MotorSports, a Denver-based auto racing team, are now coming clearly into focus. With a team that combines decades of knowledge and experience and a recently completed state of the art race shop, team owner Jim Egli, along with driver Bear Lynch, are very optimistic about the future. 2006 Events for the # 08 Dodge team will include a busy Late Model schedule, consisting of several dates at Colorado National Speedway (CNS), a NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series facility located just North of Denver. The JECO MotorSports Dodge ProTruck will also see action at CNS, keeping team driver, Bear Lynch busy doing double-duty on many Saturday nights. With NASCAR’s recent announcement that the Elite Touring Late Model Divisions will be all but dissolved by the end of 2006, JECO MotorSports has also taken a new direction with it’s touring or traveling program. Since November of 2004, the ASA Late Model Series (ASALMS) has been gaining steam, landing major sponsorships, and attracting the nations top-notch Late Model competitors. The ASALMS Challenge Series will have at least a dozen of its 2006 events televised on The Outdoor Channel. JECO MotorSports is currently seeking marketing and sponsorship partners to further their efforts. The team firmly believes that to be the best, they must compete against and beat the best. With the completion of the new 5,000+ square ft. shop facilities, and a renewed sense of enthusiasm and dedication in its skilled crewmembers, this team should prove to be a real threat to the competition. www.jecomotorsports.com
